How to Draw a Horse

Time needed: 8 minutes

Learn how to draw a horse with this super easy step by step drawing tutorial, follow the pictures below and you’ll be able to draw this cute horse in no time.

1. Head

   Sketch an oval shape for the horse’s head.

2. Body

   Sketch a wide and rounded “L” shape for the body and connect it with the head.

3. Mouth and Face

   Draw a “J” shape for the mouth and a wavy line for the bottom part of the horse’s face.

4. Eye and Nostril

   Draw an eye in the middle of the face and one nostril.

5. Ears and Hair

   Draw one ear on the right side, then draw the hair and another ear above it.

6. Mane

   Draw the horse’s mane using long wavy lines.

7. Legs

   Draw the outline of the body and the rear leg, add a front leg below the mane.

8. Two more legs

   Draw the other two legs and complete drawing the body.

9. Tail

   Draw the horse’s tail, you can draw with the same technique we used for the mane. That’s it, you can now color your horse.
